Project overview

Marlow & Vine is a fictional slow-fashion label built around one idea: make less, and make it well. I designed its homepage as part of my MSc dissertation, which looked at how designers and AI tools can collaborate in creative work, and where the human role matters most.

AI supported the process with image generation, content ideas and faster iteration. The creative decisions stayed with me: the brand concept, the visual direction, the layout, the typography and the final curation. The goal was to use AI to extend my process without letting it define the outcome.

The page opens with "Slow Light", an Autumn 2026 campaign hero set in warm, sunlit clay tones. Three brand promises follow: Made in Small Runs, Natural Fabrics Only, and Made to Be Kept. Next comes a clean product carousel for the collection, then an editorial story section, "On Making Less", explaining the brand's philosophy. The page closes with a "Stay Close" newsletter invitation. An expressive italic serif is paired with a quiet sans-serif, and the earthy, muted palette reflects the brand's calm, considered values.
